About the Role
Rocket Software is seeking a Software Engineer - III (C++ Development) for our Pune Division in Maharashtra, India. This role involves designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs to enhance products and build new tools such as operating systems, compilers, databases, and internet utilities.
Your Responsibilities
- Demonstrate strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms and data structures.
- Develop modular, maintainable C++ code with excellent design skills and efficient problem-solving abilities.
- Predict software impact on hardware compatibility and make informed component changes.
- Deliver well-structured, tested, and documented code within agreed timelines using REST Web Services (React), Maven, and CI technologies.
Rights
This position requires a minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. Proficiency in C++ is mandatory; expertise in Java is preferred.
