Software Engineer II

The hiring client is confidential. The Software Engineer II will design, develop, and optimize tools and platforms for clinical trial development, helping accelerate the delivery of medicines to patients.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable end-to-end software solutions
• Build, and maintain highly responsive and intuitive user interfaces and applications using modern JavaScript and ReactJS
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test automation suites (unit, integration, and end-to-end) using tools such as Playwright, PyTest and Jest to ensure high code quality and software reliability
• Drive DevOps best practices by building and managing robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI) for automated testing and continuous deployment
• Provision, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS) utilizing containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, including system design, coding, code reviews, and architecture planning
