About the Role

We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will independently deliver complete features and components while supporting broader engineering goals through code reviews and collaboration. You must apply strong development principles to solve technical problems that balance design with customer needs.

This position utilizes approved AI-enabled practices across implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation. All activities must comply with EEO laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other relevant regulations.

Essential Functions

• Own medium-sized features from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Apply established architectural patterns to deliver scalable solutions.
• Ensure technical decisions support usability, performance, and reliability based on product requirements.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis as needed.
• Write high-quality, testable code adhering to strict coding standards.
• Conduct constructive code reviews that verify AI-assisted changes and maintain quality.
• Recommend improvements to development processes and workflows, including AI integration.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and engineering teams to align on delivery plans.
• Mentor junior engineers through pairing and knowledge sharing.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to independently deliver end-to-end features.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and data structures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and service resilience patterns.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Track record in technical communities or open-source contributions.
