Advance your career with this Software Engineer II opportunity at JPMorganChase within the Commercial & Investment Bank- Payments Technology team in Mumbai. As an emerging member of our agile engineering group, you will enhance, design, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable software components for state-of-the-art technology products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute standard solutions covering design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Write secure, high-quality Python code with minimal guidance while leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve productivity.
  • Design and troubleshoot systems considering upstream/downstream implications.
  • Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge, including automation capabilities.
  • Solve basic complexity technical problems through advanced troubleshooting.
  • Analyze large data sets for secure application development decisions.
Required Skills:
  • Formal training/certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years applied experience (India/ LATAM/ Hong Kong).
  • Hands-on practical expertise in Python, Observability, OTel, and Dynatrace.
  • Experience developing/debugging code in large corporate environments using modern programming languages and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI-assisted development tools for coding/testing/documentation.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and security expectations.
Preferred Skills:
  • Full stack Python developer experience in enterprise applications.
  • Strong SDLC delivery knowledge within Agile methodologies (CI/CD).
  • Microservices development deployed on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service/Elastic Container Service to EC2 instances.
  • Terraform scripting and deployment in AWS production environments.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
