Role Overview
The Software Engineer II is responsible for designing, coding, and configuring solutions for moderate complexity Agile stories. You will create conceptual designs for small-scale software solutions with minimal guidance from senior engineers.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- AI-Enhanced Development: Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation while independently validating all generated output for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Problem Solving: Debug complex software bugs, identify root causes without collateral damage using systematic practices including AI tooling.
- Testing & QA: Write automated unit and integration-level tests with full end-to-end coverage using modern frameworks.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design and implement IaC (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines for Azure deployments.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior engineers on best practices, including the responsible use of AI tools.
