Role Overview

Kick-start your software engineering career as a Software Engineer II within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Payments Technology team at JPMorgan Chase. As part of an agile team, you will enhance, design, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable software components.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute basic to intermediate software solution designs, development, and technical troubleshooting within a defined business function.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate coding support (e.g., drafting unit tests), while strictly validating outputs for security and data sensitivity compliance.
• Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with peer guidance.
• Interpret architecture representations and nonfunctional requirements to develop robust software solutions.
• Apply automation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to reduce manual toil and address code quality issues.

Required Skills

• Baseline knowledge of software applications, technical processes, and development toolsets within a specific discipline.
