Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase, you will be an emerging member of an agile team responsible for enhancing, designing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable software components. Key Responsibilities

• Execute standard software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Write secure, high-quality code using modern programming languages with minimal guidance.
• Design systems considering upstream and downstream impacts.
• Leverage SDLC tools to improve automation value.
• Troubleshoot basic complexity issues effectively.
• Analyze large data sets for problem identification and decision support.
• Apply secure development methodologies and processes.

Requirements

• Formal training in software engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Hands-on system design, application development, testing, and stability maintenance.
• Experience coding/debugging in large corporate environments using modern languages and databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of front-end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
