Software Engineer II

Join our Commercial & Investment Banking Markets Technology team to advance your career as a Software Engineer II within an agile environment focused on secure, stable, and scalable software solutions. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot components of state-of-the-art technology products.

• Execute standard software solution designs, development, and technical troubleshooting with minimal guidance.
• Create high-quality code using modern programming languages while leveraging enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to enhance productivity and validate outputs through peer review and automated testing.
• Design systems considering upstream/downstream implications and utilize SDLC toolchain automation capabilities.

• Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and support secure application development decisions. Apply system processes for building stable code and learn Agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.

• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability within a large corporate environment using modern programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, and documentation while critically evaluating generated outputs.

• Full stack Java developer experience in enterprise application development.

• At least two years of hands-on experience with Java 17+.
• Experience developing microservices deployed on AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service/Container Service and EC2 instances, along with Terraform scripting for production environments.
