Job responsibilities
- Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with minimal supervision.
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot applications, considering upstream and downstream system implications.
- Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools to enhance value through automation.
- Apply technical troubleshooting to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
- Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making for secure and stable application development.
- Learn and implement system processes, methodologies, and skills for developing secure, stable code and systems.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Java, React, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Demonstrated coding ability in at least one programming language.
- Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Foundational knowledge of software applications and technical processes within specific technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
