Full Job Description
Attentive.ai is seeking a Software Engineer II with a Frontend specialization for our Noida, India location. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent design, hands-on development, and technical expertise, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, ready to contribute to critical transformation projects. As a senior front-end engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated client-side applications and intuitive user interfaces for our SaaS product.
Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, scalable, and reusable code.
- Build and maintain secure user-facing elements integrated with backend systems.
- Contribute to system design and architectural discussions.
- Assume complete ownership of assigned modules and ensure timely product delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions, motivate the team, and foster innovation.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of programs.
- Enhance the functionality of existing systems.
- Implement robust security and data protection measures.
- Evaluate and prioritize feature requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather user requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Comprehensive understanding of internet, website, and browser operations, including server technologies, HTTP protocol, CDN, and caching concepts.
- 2-6 years of software development experience with deep expertise in frontend technologies.
- Core UI development proficiency with expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern frameworks and libraries such as Next.js, React.js, TypeScript, React Query, and Zustand.
- Strong user experience (UX) acumen to contribute to effective product design solutions.
- Proven experience in product development and building functional components.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges and their solutions.
- Experience designing responsive interfaces for various screen sizes (mobile, tablet, laptop).
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and GCP.
- Experience with testing frameworks and libraries such as Jest, Vitest, and React Testing Library.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in both startup and enterprise environments.
- Working knowledge of browser automation technologies like Selenium WebDriver.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related terminology.
- Familiarity with front-end mapping libraries like OpenLayers and Leaflet.
- Knowledge of webpack configuration, web page speed, and size optimization.
- Understanding of Docker build systems and deployment configurations.
