As a Software Engineer II on an agile team, you will be instrumental in enhancing, designing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable software components for the firm's cutting-edge technology products. You'll gain valuable experience by executing software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute standard software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with minimal supervision.
- Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot applications, considering upstream and downstream system implications.
- Leverage Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) toolchain knowledge to enhance value through automation.
- Apply technical troubleshooting skills to resolve moderately complex technical problems.
- Analyze large, diverse datasets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making for secure and stable application development.
- Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills to develop secure and stable code and systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with the latest version of Angular.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Demonstrable coding proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security best practices.
- Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within specific disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI, ML, mobile).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with React coding standards.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
