Software Engineer II

About the Role

Join Ad Hoc as a Software Engineer II - Front End/ Back End (Golang/Angular). This is a fully remote position where you will collaborate on defining moments in public-sector service delivery, building products that connect Veterans to tailored services and modernize legacy systems for agencies like NASA and the FDIC.

What You Will Do:

• Estimate and complete development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with moderate guidance.
• Debug, optimize, maintain, and monitor work in both test and production environments using Golang and Angular.
• Develop tests, monitoring/instrumentation, analytics, and deployment pipeline changes (Jenkins).
• Participate in on-call rotations and planning sessions to understand major architectures and design patterns.
• Broaden technical skills while gaining context around surrounding areas within the engineering function.
