About the Role

As a Software Engineer II within JPMorgan Chase's Consumer and Community Banking division, you will be a vital member of an agile team. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering secure, stable, and scalable market-leading technology products. You will be instrumental in implementing critical technology solutions across various technical areas and business functions to achieve the firm's strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute software solutions, encompassing design, development, and technical troubleshooting, demonstrating an ability to innovate beyond conventional approaches to build solutions and resolve complex technical problems.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that operate synchronously with relevant systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for intricate applications, ensuring that software code development adheres to design constraints.
- Gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize data from large, diverse datasets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
- Proactively identify subtle issues and patterns within data, leveraging these insights to enhance coding practices and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on exploring new and emerging technologies.
- Foster a team culture that champions diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Possess formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, coupled with at least 2 years of practical application experience.
- Demonstrate expertise and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
- Have comprehensive experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for software deployment, including release management and proficiency with Jenkins and Spinnaker pipeline deployments.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Be proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or Groovy.
- Experience with Third-Party Vendor Data Management, Lifecycle, and Engagement for Trouble Tickets, utilizing DevOps processes.
- Willingness to adhere to weekly support rotation schedules, including weekends, as part of standard DevOps cadence.

- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
