About the Role
Join a team that has been adapting convenience retail and petroleum wholesale technologies for nearly 40 years. You will participate in architectural design decisions for new applications while maintaining existing ones. Your focus is to proactively escalate issues, prepare detailed project status reports with risk assessments, and develop robust software solutions within an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze technical challenges using a disciplined approach to determine optimal solutions.
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate software defects in both development and production environments alongside QA Engineers.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify feature work estimates and requirements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions and compile testing data for problem-solving.
Tech Stack & Tools
You will utilize Microsoft Visual Studio IDE, Azure DevOps or Jira. Proficiency is required in .Net/C#, SQL, JavaScript (e.g., React), ASP.Net MVC, and ideally AI development tools like Claude with agentic methods.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5-7 years designing/developing software applications in a product environment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure, ability to translate technical concepts for non-tech stakeholders, and strong written communication skills.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
