Software Engineer II

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, implement, and support healthcare integration solutions. This role ensures secure and reliable exchange of clinical, financial, and operational data across enterprise systems while collaborating with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors on interoperability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, deploy, configure, and maintain integrations using HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, SFTP, and scripting. Support disparate systems including EHRs, pharmacy, lab, imaging, practice management, cloud apps, and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate workflows into technical specs, support new system implementations, participate in solution design, and contribute to project planning.
• Monitor production/non-production environments independently, troubleshoot interface failures, implement fixes, recommend scalable solutions, and drive automation initiatives for efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including message mappings, implementation guides, workflows, and procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, standard development of integration/security practices, and change management processes. Stay current on interoperability standards through continuous professional development.
