As a Software Engineer II, you will be part of an Employee Platforms team that works to enhance, design, and deliver state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system.

• Executes standard software solution, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve productivity while validating outputs through peer review
• Designs solutions considering upstream and downstream systems
• Applies knowledge of SDC toolchain including automation capabilities
• Solves technical problems of basic complexity using data analysis

Required Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 2+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Ability to develop code using modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted tools for coding and troubleshooting while validating outputs critically
• Understanding of responsible AI use including data sensitivity considerations
• Familiarity with the whole Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
