Software Engineer II A

Bank of America's Global Business Services (GBS) division is seeking an Angular Developer for the sub-ledger simplification program. This role involves close collaboration with global agile teams to deliver projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong development and design skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Responsibilities include working with global teams to understand needs, customize technology, deliver high-quality code adhering to application standards, coordinate with global business users, and follow Scrum processes with a focus on operational excellence. Domain knowledge in Markets and sub-ledger is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with global teams to define and implement technology solutions.
• Develop and deliver high-quality, standards-compliant code.
• Engage with global business users throughout the project lifecycle.
• Adhere to Scrum methodologies and champion operational excellence.
• Utilize knowledge of Markets and sub-ledger domains.

Requirements:

• Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (preferably in IT/CS).
• Experience: 6 to 8 years of development experience.
• Technical Skills: 6+ years of experience in React/scripting, strong knowledge of unit testing, understanding of CI/CD, proficient in Angular and Java, UNIX/Windows operating systems, SQL.
• Foundational Skills: Strong background in software development lifecycle, excellent communication skills, knowledge of Global Markets.
• Desired Skills: Strong analytical abilities, proactive problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
• Work Timings: 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM IST, with flexibility required.
• Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
