About the Job
Position: Software Engineer I
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $25,000 - $40,000 annually
Location: India
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute production code to backend and frontend systems under guidance.
- Develop and maintain services using Go and Python.
- Build user interface components and features using React and Next.js.
- Assist in the development of microservices for ranking, analytics, and payouts.
- Learn and implement best practices for testing, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with senior engineers and product teams.
- Take ownership of small features from conception to completion as you grow within the role.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Demonstrable academic or personal projects showcasing practical application.
- Basic proficiency in at least one backend programming language, with Go or Python being preferred.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks is advantageous.
- A strong aptitude for rapid learning and adaptation in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive ownership mindset.
- An interest in AI systems or large-scale platforms is a plus.
