JLL is seeking a Software Engineer I on the Martech Intelligence Pod to start their engineering career working on real customer-facing applications in Bengaluru, India. You will learn professional software development and build full-stack solutions in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on small, well-scoped tasks with clear acceptance criteria including bug fixes, simple feature additions, and documentation improvements.
• Fix simple bugs in React and TypeScript applications regarding layout issues and component state problems.
• Implement small features such as simple forms, content displays, and UI improvements.
• Help fix bugs in C or Java backend services and implement API endpoints and database queries.
• Maintain and support customer-facing websites like jll.com and WordPress installations.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers and senior engineers.
• Explore AI tools, experiment with LLM APIs, and learn how modern AI capabilities integrate into applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught experience.
• 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C or Java backend development.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
