Opportunity Overview

Join Cohere Health's rapidly growing Clinical Intelligence team to leverage AI for transforming prior authorization processes. This role focuses on building full-stack web applications and automation solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance patient care using deterministic rules-based systems alongside advanced AI/ML models.

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the functional & technical roadmap by delivering high-impact healthcare automation solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Actively support technical design processes and make data-driven decisions through expert analysis.
• Continuously discover, understand, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency within our cloud platform (AWS/Azure).
• Own the entire SDLC: from database management and frontend development to feature delivery and production release cycles occurring 2-4 times monthly.

ISMS Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain good knowledge of information practices and assist in security implementation processes.
• Ensure team competence related to Information Security and implement relevant policies/procedures.

About You - Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of full-time experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with Java/Groovy or Python; Experience building applications using React and JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus).
• Familiarity with cloud development on AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on experience leveraging test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL stores like DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, MongoDB.

Nice-to-Haves

• Integrating AI/LLM-based systems into product workflows.
• Designing or implementing agent-based systems or autonomous task-driven agents.
• Prior experience in healthcare and life sciences (not required but valued).
