Software Engineer

About the Role

The Software Engineer works closely with Pipeline Leads/Supervisors and artists to support and maintain our existing Houdini-based production workflows. You will troubleshoot user-facing issues while contributing to the development of new tools that meet evolving production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve routine-to-challenging problems within Production pipeline workflow domains.
• Write high-quality, maintainable Python code with robust testing practices.
• Communicate effectively with artists to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to technical briefs and user documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of experience supporting workflows for end-to-end departments, preferably using Houdini as the DCC (Maya/Nuke is a plus).
• Proficiency in Python for maintaining and enhancing Pipeline tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to address complex artist workflow issues.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
