Software Engineer - Wells Fargo, Hyderabad, Telangana
Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role involves participating in and contributing to technology initiatives, focusing on enhancing service quality and availability. You will be responsible for the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of low to moderately complex projects, including upgrades and deployment efforts. The position requires identifying opportunities for improvement, reviewing technical assignments, and presenting recommendations for issue resolution. While exercising independent judgment, you will also develop a strong understanding of the technology domain, including security and compliance requirements. Collaboration and communication with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects.
- Contribute to installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts within the technology domain.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions for technology projects.
- Analyze technical challenges and evaluate alternative technology domains.
- Present recommendations and escalate issues as needed to meet service level agreements.
- Develop an understanding of the technology domain, focusing on security and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with technology colleagues, partners, and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through experience, training, military service, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Candidates graduating in 2023 are specifically sought.
- 2+ years of Full Stack Developer experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot Microservices development.
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- 2+ years of experience with ReactJS.
- 2+ years of experience with Oracle DB and SQL Server.
- 2+ years or good to have experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- 2+ years of experience with Test Frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, Karate.
- 2+ years of experience with SDLC processes, specifically Agile Methodology and Scrum Framework.
- 2+ years of experience with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle, Checkmarx, Blackduck, JIRA.
- 2+ years of experience in developing JUnit test cases.
- Experience with Azure/Google/Pivotal Cloud application development.
- Understanding of Microservice-based applications, principles, and patterns.
- Experience in Test Automation.
- Experience in analysis and design of complex systems.
- Experience with PL/SQL development.
- Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Postman.
- Working knowledge of APM tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; experience with MS Office and Teams.
- Experience in AI tech stack and AI Apps development.
Job Expectations:
- Must be a full stack developer with experience implementing large, complex applications.
- Proven experience implementing microservice-based applications.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Working experience within an Agile-Scrum Team environment.
- Experience in Middleware application development.
- Working experience in automated CI/CD for application builds and deployments using Jenkins and UCD.
- Working experience in cloud-native application development.
- Ability to contribute to large-scale strategic planning.
