Software Engineer

Optum seeks a skilled Software Engineer for its Hyderabad, Telangana team, focusing on advancing health optimization globally. This role involves full-stack development using Microsoft .Net core, designing and maintaining scalable web applications. Responsibilities include front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React, and back-end development of server-side logic and APIs. Candidates will manage databases, ensure code quality through clean, efficient coding and reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The position also requires mentorship of junior developers, participation in the full software development lifecycle, and staying updated with industry innovations. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET, React, Azure, and DevOps, and experience with SQL, NoSQL, ORM frameworks, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure cloud services are required. Proficiency in both backend (.NET) and frontend (React) development, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a proven understanding of Agile methodologies are essential.
