Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a dedicated support engineer for both PROD and non-production environments.
- Maintain readiness to work in a 24/7 support model, including night shifts.
- Strong proficiency in Ab Initioa, Oracle / SQL (procedures and functions), and Linux with shell scripting expertise.
- Solid experience with Bigdata technologies and Pyspark.
- Demonstrated knowledge of web/app servers, deployments, data loads, operations, and environment support.
- Troubleshoot incidents, track requests, investigate issues, and ensure closure within SLAs.
- Create, review, and implement change requests effectively.
- Conduct regular health checks and validations across environments.
- Configure monitoring for application/DB alerts to ensure job execution completion on time.
- Perform DB refreshes and maintenance tasks.
- Identify automation opportunities for repetitive activities related to daily, weekly, or monthly application maintenance using jobs/schedules.
- Maintain monitoring of service availability, batch jobs, report generations, ensuring timely execution within SLAs.
- Minimum 4 years of support experience preferred; overall work experience between 2-5 years expected.
- Dedicated, diligent, and efficient with excellent communication skills.
- Domain knowledge in Finance or Liquidity reporting is a plus.
- Familiarity with Autosys / Control Center is an added advantage.
