About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Hyderabad/Secunderabad team.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects within the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within our tech environment
- Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions for various technology programs, including system upgrades and deployments
- Review and analyze technical assignments related to low-to-medium risk deliverables, requiring research and evaluation of alternative technologies
- Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate as needed to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
- Exercise independent judgment while developing a deep understanding of security and compliance requirements
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via training/military/education)
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with UX design tools
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Experience with Cross Browser Validation and performance monitoring tools
- Track record of managing larger teams across multiple geographic territories
Mandatory Skills & Expectations:
Core UI Development:
- Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express Server, React, Node) and proficiency with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme & testing-library preferred), TDD scripting, Automated Testing using Web Driver IO, CI/CD pipelines, Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Development of functional-based components utilizing Hooks, Redux, Memoization, and Higher-Order Components (HOC)
- Demonstrated ability to develop applications ensuring Accessibility compliance
- Packaging and deploying UI deliverables efficiently
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD), asynchronous programming, web application design patterns
Domain Knowledge:
- Experience with Product Development cycles
- Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably for customer-facing applications)
- Digital Banking or Ecommerce experience preferred
- Excellent business communication skills
- Enterprise Mobility Applications: Performance Tuning, Scaling, and Security Best Practices
