Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Hyderabad/Secunderabad team.

• Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects within the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts
• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within our tech environment
• Design, code, test, debug, and document solutions for various technology programs, including system upgrades and deployments
• Review and analyze technical assignments related to low-to-medium risk deliverables, requiring research and evaluation of alternative technologies
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate as needed to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
• Exercise independent judgment while developing a deep understanding of security and compliance requirements
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders

• 2+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent via training/military/education)

• Familiarity with UX design tools
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Experience with Cross Browser Validation and performance monitoring tools
• Track record of managing larger teams across multiple geographic territories

• Core UI Development:

• Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express Server, React, Node) and proficiency with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Hands-on experience with Unit Testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme & testing-library preferred), TDD scripting, Automated Testing using Web Driver IO, CI/CD pipelines, Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
• Development of functional-based components utilizing Hooks, Redux, Memoization, and Higher-Order Components (HOC)
• Demonstrated ability to develop applications ensuring Accessibility compliance
• Packaging and deploying UI deliverables efficiently
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD), asynchronous programming, web application design patterns

Domain Knowledge:

• Experience with Product Development cycles
• Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably for customer-facing applications)
• Digital Banking or Ecommerce experience preferred
• Excellent business communication skills
• Enterprise Mobility Applications: Performance Tuning, Scaling, and Security Best Practices
