Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Lloyds Technology Centre in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and expertise across various methodologies and toolsets to design, build, and unit test high-quality code. Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering products that meet stringent quality standards and customer expectations. You will be an integral part of cross-disciplinary teams, fostering opportunities to expand your technical acumen and hone essential workplace skills and behaviors. Furthermore, you will actively participate in Communities of Practice, Engineering Guilds, and Working Groups, contributing to and benefiting from peer-to-peer mentoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project budgets, identifying and reporting any variances to senior colleagues within established financial systems.
- Address customer needs for simple products and services by adhering to standardized protocols, or provide essential back-office support to customer advisors.
- Continuously enhance personal capabilities through formal and informal training, while also providing coaching to colleagues as needed.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and utilize established change management programs to achieve desired outcomes and deliver support services.
- Review and address IT security non-compliance issues within current processes, systems, and procedures, working under guidance to resolve ad hoc problems within your designated unit or sub-discipline.
- Facilitate the effective use of existing knowledge management systems by team members.
- Analyze customer requirements, and through designated development/engineering activities using established systems, define and deliver required products.
- Track risk parameters, identify major deviations, and report them to senior colleagues within established risk management frameworks.
- Perform supplier management activities to achieve personal outcomes or support others using existing systems and protocols.
- Navigate a wide array of existing processes, procedures, and precedents to interpret data and identify potential solutions.
- Develop test procedures and standards based on product specifications.
- Provide direct supervision to teams performing transactional work or lead small groups engaged in junior professional tasks.
- Align with individual and team objectives, investing in personal performance improvement by developing skills and capabilities, and coaching others when necessary.
- Investigate inquiries related to existing programs, processes, and procedures.
About the Role:
This is a permanent job opportunity for a Software Engineer in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Telangana. The role involves working with a salary range of INR 200,000-400,000 per annum and requires 2-4 years of relevant experience.
