As a Software Engineer on this team in Hyderabad, India, you will be instrumental in developing user experiences and migration capabilities that ensure reliable, large-scale content transfers. Your contributions will directly impact user growth and support Notion's strategic expansion into the enterprise market. Key Responsibilities and Achievements:

• Drive Notion's user growth by creating intuitive user experiences that allow users to effortlessly migrate their content from existing productivity tools.
• Contribute to the design, scalability, reliability, and robustness of systems responsible for managing large volumes of customer data moving into and out of Notion.
• Facilitate Notion's upward market movement by collaborating with engineers and cross-functional partners across product, design, and professional services to ensure the reliable migration of Notion's major enterprise clients from third-party applications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrated execution capability with 7+ years of engineering experience, including significant time spent building high-quality product experiences within a team environment.
• A proactive approach to team development, enjoying collaboration with fellow engineers and cross-functional partners. A commitment to lifelong learning and investing in personal and team growth.
• Holistic problem-solving abilities, starting with a thorough understanding of the context. Critical thinking skills to assess the impact of work on users, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, decompose complex problems into manageable solutions, and balance business needs.
• A pragmatic approach to technology, understanding that tools are defined by their trade-offs. Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed.
• Empathetic communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to engage constructively in disagreements and find common ground.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in parts of Notion's technology stack, including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Memcached, Postgres, Docker, and Elasticsearch.
