Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Java Engineer with a strong background in development, test automation, design principles, and excellent interpersonal abilities to join our team in Hyderabad. This role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, building efficient and high-performing solutions, and designing systems that meet business and strategic requirements. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver robust software, actively participate in sprint automation, and support production issues during India business hours. Key responsibilities include working with Product Managers, System Architects, and other stakeholders to define and execute test strategies across consumer banking applications.

Mandatory Skills:

• 1-4 years of experience in Java/J2EE web application development.
• Proficiency in Spring framework (Core, Boot, MVC, AOP, Batch), Web Services (REST, SOAP), and Kafka.
• Experience with integration technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/PCF), and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Oracle and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools, including LLM models and agent-based approaches.
• Strong understanding of OOAD, multi-threaded application development, web application design, and design patterns.
• Experience in microservice and cloud application development and deployment.
• Proficiency in CI-CD processes and tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and Domain Driven Development (DDD), including BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, Karate).
• Product design knowledge, with experience in large enterprise-scale integrations, particularly in customer-facing applications.
• Experience in consumer banking or complex middleware applications.
• Familiarity with API-driven development using SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Expertise in application performance tuning, scaling, security, and resiliency best practices.
• Proven experience delivering projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodologies, preferably using JIRA.
• Experience with Unit Testing (JUnit) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and business communication skills in English.
• System knowledge analysis capabilities.

Desired Skills:

• Certifications in Google/Azure Cloud, AWS Associate level, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) developer.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.

Skills and Certifications:

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 1-4 years of hands-on software architecture, design, and development experience.
• Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git), build tools (Maven, Gradle), and monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk).
