Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Data Scientists, Platform Strategists, and Technology leads, to understand and address data needs. Your primary focus will be on developing data solutions that drive significant business value.

Key responsibilities include performing statistical modeling, aggregation, and processing to extract actionable insights from complex, high-volume, and high-dimensionality data sets. You will leverage a variety of tools and data analysis techniques to manipulate and analyze data from diverse sources. Identifying and implementing innovative ideas, developing proofs of concept and prototypes, and proposing new products, services, and enhancements will be crucial. You will also be involved in integrating new data assets to improve our value proposition for customers and enhance existing solutions.

This role requires analyzing large volumes of transaction and product data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for business growth. You will collect and synthesize feedback from clients, development, product, and sales teams to inform new solutions and product enhancements. A strong understanding of metrics, measurements, and benchmarking will be applied to complex and demanding solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech, M.Tech, or Masters degree from a premium institute, with 2-5 years of overall experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Scala, or Python, along with knowledge of data mining and machine learning algorithms and tools, is essential. Experience in data modeling, programming, querying, data mining, and report development using granular data for business intelligence and custom reporting solutions is required. A strong interest in current affairs and news media, excellent oral and written communication skills, a passion for problem-solving, a high energy level, flexibility, adaptability, strong collaboration skills, and excellent organizational and time management abilities are highly valued.
