Software Engineer, GenAI/Agentic AI Engineer - Hyderabad, Telangana

Wells Fargo is seeking a talented Software Engineer with expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technologies within a leading financial institution.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying innovative GenAI and Agentic AI solutions. You will collaborate with agile development teams and stakeholders to deliver robust software systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Participating in low to moderately complex technology initiatives, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and availability within the technology domain.
• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting for low to moderately complex projects, encompassing upgrades and deployments.
• Analyzing technical assignments and challenges related to low to medium risk deliverables, requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternative technology solutions.
• Presenting recommendations for issue resolution or escalating issues as needed to meet established service level agreements.
• Exercising independent judgment while developing an understanding of the technology domain, with a focus on security and compliance requirements.
• Providing essential information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications

• Targeting 2023 Pass outs/Graduates.
• Must Have: 2+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, or alternative public/hybrid cloud environments, with a proven track record of delivering products using cloud services and architectures at scale.
• Must Have: 2+ years of experience with Python.
• Must Have: Significant experience with GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and conversational bots.
• Must Have: 1+ years of experience with Playbooks and Vertex AI.
• Must Have: Exposure to ADK (hands-on) and Voice AI.
• Good to have: Experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph.
• Good to have: Strong experience in the Contact Center industry, including design, development, testing, and integration with vendors, CRMs, and business applications. Proven knowledge in areas such as IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Real-Time Omni-channel Agent experience, customer journey optimization, and CX/AX experience optimization using AI/ML.
• Good to have: Significant experience with Node.js, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches (GemFire, Redis), Elasticsearch, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases (Cassandra or MongoDB), Graph Databases, and Public Cloud Marketplace services.
• Good to have: 2+ years of experience with Domain-Driven Design for cloud-native microservices designed for massive scale and resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, or serverless cloud technologies.
• Good to have: Significant experience with automated testing frameworks for Unit testing (Java/Python), UI microservices, Service Virtualization, Contract Testing, API Testing (Blazemeter/JMeter), WebRTC signaling and audio testing, performance stress and load tests, and chaos resiliency automated testing.
• Good to have: Significant hands-on experience with TrueCD and DevOps practices using Cucumber and GitHub Actions.
• Good to have: Experience working in an Agile environment, including product backlog refinement, Agile at scale, conducting discoveries, and process improvements to accelerate software development.
• Good to have: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and GitHub, understanding of concepts and familiarity working within modern IaC/EaC pipelines.
• Good to have: Scripting and infrastructure automation skills, including Python/Go, Shell, Gherkin, PowerShell, etc.
• Good to have: Professional cloud certifications on Azure, GCP, or other cloud providers.
• Good to have: Full-stack application development experience.
• Good to have: Ability to rationalize risk controls into policy outcomes.
• Good to have: Good understanding of Network Security, Enterprise Architecture, and OWASP Security practices.
• Good to have: Significant experience with real-time low-latency front-end web applications using React, Redux, RxJS, TypeScript, Progressive Web Apps, and REST APIs, real-time eventing (gRPC or WebSockets) using micro-frontend architecture.
