Software Engineer

Unbox Robotics is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team in Pune, India.

As a Fullstack Software Engineer at Unbox Robotics, you will be instrumental in developing and expanding the web platforms that drive our innovative robotics and logistics solutions. Your responsibilities will span both frontend and backend development, contributing to critical system design decisions and fostering collaboration with product, deployment, and infrastructure teams. Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable fullstack applications.
• Construct responsive and maintainable frontend applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and manage backend services and efficient RESTful APIs.
• Oversee the planning, building, deployment, and maintenance of application stacks in production.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define requirements, architect solutions, and ensure timely delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to production and deployment.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality, application performance, and system reliability.
• Support and enhance test automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on fullstack development experience.
• Exceptional proficiency in JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience with React, HTML, CSS, and Redux.
• Proven backend development skills using Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design principles.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience with Git/GitLab for version control and team collaboration.
• Working knowledge of Docker and containerized deployment environments.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
• Comfort and proficiency in Linux-based environments, including SQL and scripting.

Good To Have

• Experience with caching systems like Redis and message queues like RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Exposure to data analytics tools.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Desired Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science or a related field.
• Work Experience: 3 to 5 years.
