Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join the core platform team for our ChampionAI agentic platform. As part of this Full Stack role involving Python & Golang backend and Frontend, you will build new capabilities, assist Applied AI teams in deploying Champion agents, and develop custom agents for business unit use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the Champion platform using trunk-based development with PR-gated merges.
• Enhance developer experience through tooling creation, scaffolding, documentation, and onboarding support for Applied AI engineers.
• Maintain and evolve the MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool server and agent infrastructure used by business units.
• Identify friction points in Champion development or deployment workflows and implement solutions.
• Support BU Applied AI engineers with building, deploying, and operating Champions correctly.
• Review agent implementations for prompt quality, scope enforcement, authentication configuration, and deployment setup.
• Create internal engineering guides and skill documentation.
• Pair with BU engineers on Kubernetes manifest creation, database registration, and LaunchDarkly prompt rollouts.
• Design and build Champion agents directly for business unit use cases when required by the platform team.
• Iterate on system prompts, tool bindings, and context injection strategies for production-grade AI agents.
