We are seeking a Software Engineer / Full Stack Java Developer with GenAI expertise to join our team. In this position, you will participate in low to moderately complex initiatives associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements within the technology domain environment.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects related to upgrades and deployments using Java & Spring Boot backend services, Angular, JQuery, SQL, HTML, CSS.
• Review and analyze technical assignments or challenges that are related to low to medium risk deliverables requiring research and evaluation of alternative technology domains.
• Present recommendations for resolving issues or escalate as needed to meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of the given technology domain in reference to security and compliance requirements.
• Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders with a focus on Consumer Banking applications.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of software engineering experience (work experience, training, military experience, education).

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

• Core skills in Java and UI related technologies such as Java & Spring Boot backend services, Angular, JQuery, SQL, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with GenAI tools, including an in-depth exploration of various LLM models, efficient utilization techniques, and knowledge in agent-based approaches.
• Strong expertise in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design patterns, Microservice development, Cloud applications (deployment), CI-CD processes.
• Familiarity with Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
• Hands-on experience delivering high-value projects using Agile (SCRUM) methodology and JIRA tool.
• Solid knowledge of API-driven development via SOAP, REST, and JSON.
• Experience in Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices.
• Unit Testing /TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing skills.
