Software Engineer

AliveCor is seeking a skilled Software Engineer, Frontend for their Bangalore office. This role is ideal for an engineer who can navigate large, complex codebases, effectively integrating legacy data structures with modern, AI-enhanced front-end architectures. The position requires a strong understanding of how business logic translates into technical requirements within an expansive system.

Core Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Development: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of features, including the development, testing, and deployment of robust front-end architectures using React and Next.js.
• AI System Integration: Implement AI APIs within the client layer and leverage advanced AI coding environments such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot to streamline refactoring and accelerate feature delivery.
• Data & Performance Engineering: Optimize data-fetching logic and state management to ensure high-performance experiences, particularly for data-intensive applications.
• Design Implementation: Translate intricate Figma specifications into semantically correct, accessible, and high-fidelity code.
• Repository Governance: Maintain high standards of code quality and architectural integrity within a dynamic, multi-contributor environment.

Technical Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 1-2 years of experience in software engineering, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and contribute to substantial existing codebases.
• Core Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in React (including Hooks, Context, and State Management) and Next.js (App Router, Server Components, SSR/SSG).
• Technical Stack: Mastery of TypeScript and modern JavaScript, coupled with a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Systems Literacy: Competency in API consumption, data normalization, and navigating complex legacy data structures.
• Development Workflow: Expert-level use of Git for version control and familiarity with modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
