By analyzing signals from conversations across various platforms, including the web, CRM, and calls, Letterdrop automates intelligent outbound and nurture strategies, focusing on effective social selling. Working directly with the CEO, you will play a key role in designing and building innovative features.

Our clientele includes rapidly growing mid-market startups such as Clay, Crossbeam, Gem, and Synthesia, alongside enterprise clients like Fluke and Mountain. We are a break-even company with more pipeline than we can handle and are experiencing significant growth.

About You

We are seeking individuals who possess a strong foundation in Computer Science, understanding the practical implications of memory, parallelization, and runtime. You should be adept at writing clean, maintainable code and collaborate effectively within a team. A commitment to simplicity and a willingness to refactor code for future readability are essential.

We are looking for candidates who are hungry and eager to build and ship great products rapidly. In our startup environment, you can expect to deploy multiple bug fixes, improvements, and features weekly, balancing speed with stability. Independence and rapid learning are key; you should be comfortable navigating documentation, GitHub issues, open-source code, and leveraging AI tools to solve problems without constant supervision. Product taste and a dedication to exceptional user experiences are crucial, as our product is used by sales and marketing teams at high-growth companies.

Crucially, you must be AI-native. You understand that software engineering has evolved, and you actively utilize the latest AI technologies to enhance your productivity. This goes beyond simple prompting; you have internalized AI into your workflow, potentially using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Devin daily. You know how to delegate effectively to AI for stable, maintainable code and have experimented with AI for design exploration, PRD generation, test case creation, frontend perfection, and automating engineering tasks. You have informed opinions on AI's role in development and can elevate the team's AI proficiency.

• Those who use AI tools superficially without a deep understanding of their impact on software development methodologies.

What you will do:

• Ship new features quickly and reliably.
• Enhance existing product quality and stability.
• Optimize code for efficiency, particularly around data fetching and API performance.
• Architect and implement AI/LLM-powered features.
• Champion AI-assisted workflows across design, PRDs, and engineering.
• Collaborate on code reviews, integrating both AI and human feedback.
• Work directly with the CEO on feature roadmapping.

Requirements

• 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience in React, Node.js, or similar (fast learners of missing technologies are welcome).
• Familiarity with our stack: React, Node.js, Flask, MongoDB, BigQuery, GCP, and Electron.
• Demonstrated AI fluency, showcasing how you integrate AI into your workflow (experience with Cursor, Devin, Claude Code, or similar is a strong plus).
• Publicly viewable side projects on GitHub.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and dabbling in LLMs/AI.
• Strong English communication and independent research skills.
• A positive, can-do attitude and problem-solving confidence.

Interview Process

• 15-minute initial phone interview.
• 45-60 minute live coding interview (algorithms).
• 45-minute session demonstrating AI tool proficiency (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) for a small feature development lifecycle.
• 1-2 reference checks from previous managers.
