Role Overview
Join Zello as a Software Engineer focused on Escalations. You will own the most complex enterprise technical escalations, diagnosing critical issues across integrations, networks, mobile SDKs (Android/iOS), and deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and resolve high-pressure multi-system integration failures and network anomalies at an L2 level or higher.
- Analyze codebases and SDK internals to isolate root causes of bugs, writing fixes where scope allows rather than escalating every technical query.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Support and Engineering, crafting precise bug reports that lead directly to resolution.
- Develop automated diagnostic tooling, scripts, and runbooks to eliminate repeat escalations across the organization.
- Lead onboarding reviews for strategic enterprise accounts involving MDM, SSO/SAML, custom APIs, and on-premise deployments.
