Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer, E5 - Backend to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. You will be instrumental in providing technical leadership, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and collaborating with architects to maintain architectural consistency and technical excellence across our products and platforms.

This role involves understanding stakeholder requirements, translating them into robust technical solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will develop technical roadmaps, guide technology and tool selection, and mentor team members to enhance their technical and leadership capabilities. Participation in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities is crucial, alongside continuous improvement of system performance, scalability, and reliability. You will also actively contribute to technical innovations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Backend Development.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Must-Haves:

• Strong experience in Core Java, REST, Spring.
• Experience in Unit Testing and Automation.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Experience with NoSQL storage systems (Cassandra/HBase/MongoDB).
• Ability to analyze requirements, estimate efforts, and strategize deployments.
• Proven experience in architecting and developing applications from scratch.
• Proficient debugging skills.
• Experience designing for performance, scalability, fault tolerance, and high availability.
• Solid problem-solving skills with a strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.

Good to Have:

• Experience in JavaScript and React.
• Understanding of Browser Extensions.
• Exposure to GWT/Swing/AWT.
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
