The Role

We are hiring a skilled Software Engineer for the Data side of our AI team in Hyderabad, India (Remote/Hybrid within Telangana). You will own all aspects of data collection to support model training operations. This role involves building petabyte-scale datasets at low cost through tight integration of infrastructure and engineering.

What You'll Do

• Innovate: Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and integrate them into our ingestion pipeline.
• Scale Infrastructure: Operate and extend cloud infrastructure on GCP managed with Terraform for high-throughput ingestion pipelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with AI Scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality frontiers. Collaborate with Leadership to craft the dataset roadmap for consumer and enterprise products.

Requirements

• Degree:
Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience:
5+ years of industry experience in software development.

• Tech Stack: Proficiency with Bash/Python scripting, Linux environments, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). Professional experience with GCP is required.
• Preferred Skills:
Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows.

• Soft Skills:
Aptitude for multitasking, adapting to changing priorities, strong written/verbal communication skills, and a passion for diverse & inclusive workplaces.
