About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer for our Data Infrastructure & Acquisition team in Chennai. You will drive all aspects of data collection to support large-scale model training operations, building high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale while optimizing cost and throughput.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovate new sources for audio data ingestion into our proprietary pipelines
- Operate and extend cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform
- Collaborate with AI Scientists to push the cost/throughput/quality frontier next-gen models
- Partner with leadership to craft a strategic dataset roadmap for consumer and enterprise products
Requirements:
- B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development
- Expertise in Bash/Python scripting within Linux environments
- Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with major Cloud Providers (specifically GCP)
- Prior experience with web crawlers or large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Strong adaptability to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
