Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the Data side of our global AI team. This role focuses on all aspects of data collection to support model training operations, building high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale with low cost through tight integration of infrastructure and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skrappyly source new audio data sources and integrate them into our ingestion pipeline.
• Operate and extend cloud infrastructure (GCP) using Terraform for the ingestion pipeline.
• Collaborate with Scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality of datasets powering next-generation models.
• Work cross-functionally on the AI Team's dataset roadmap for consumer and enterprise products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development (Senior Level).
• Proficiency with Bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Strong expertise in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, specifically GCP.
• Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly; strong written and verbal communication skills.
