About The Role
MEMX seeks a Software Engineer to join our core team, designing, developing, and supporting the MEMX Trading system. You will build features for US Equities and Options platforms while providing production support.
What You'll Do
- Participate in the full SDLC for the MEMX Trading Platform.
- Develop low latency, high throughput, event-sourcing applications.
- Assist Market and Technical Operations to resolve production issues.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science.
- 5+ years of Real-Time Server-Side JAVA development experience.
- Experience with Low latency, High Volume Linux systems.
- Familiarity with US Equities, Options, or Futures asset classes and low latency trading systems.
Ideal Candidate
A self-starter capable of thriving in a dynamic, remote-first environment. Plus: Experience in Clearing/Settlement/Back Office, Event Sourcing patterns, Time Series Databases, TCP/IP/UDP/FIX messaging, and tools like Git/Jenkins.
