Software Engineer

About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a distinguished Haystack partner organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate closely with product management teams to translate requirements into precise technical specifications.
• Implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines utilizing industry-standard DevOps practices.
• Lead comprehensive Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities, including designing test cases and executing automation strategies.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the development team.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Project Delivery: Proven track record of delivering complex software engineering projects independently or as part of a team.
• DevOps Skills: Deep understanding of DevOps principles and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Testing Expertise: Demonstrated experience in SQA, including test automation frameworks and various testing methodologies.
• Collaboration: Familiarity with Product Management concepts and a strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional product teams.
• Databases: Hands-on experience with both SQL and/or NoSQL database systems for data modeling and querying.
