Software Engineer

Franklin Templeton Investments is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the TACC department in Hyderabad, Telangana. This role involves working with .NET and Windows-based technologies, leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted tools. You will collaborate closely with trading, operations, and risk teams to design, build, and support scalable, high-performance applications critical to business functions. Responsibilities include application development, production support, refactoring code for improved performance and extensibility, conducting code reviews with a strong business domain understanding, participating in design discussions, building shared libraries, designing testing strategies, creating application designs and data models, translating requirements into technical designs, defining non-functional requirements, and supporting integration testing and technology roadmap planning. Experience with financial reconciliation systems and an interest in blockchain technology are advantageous.

The ideal candidate will possess strong fundamentals in C#/.NET, React, Python, and SQL, coupled with a solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, database design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. Daily use of AI development tools is essential. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployments, cloud application observability, and integrating AI workflows with legacy systems is also highly valued. Strong communication, collaboration, and independent problem-solving skills are required. A Computer Science or Software Engineering degree is mandatory, with 5+ years of full-stack development experience being desired, along with experience in production support and issue management. This is an Individual Contributor role with work timings from 11:00 AM to 08:00 PM IST.
