Graviton Research Capital LLP in Gurgaon is seeking talented Software Engineers for its Core Technology team. This team comprises top-tier programmers in India, dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology for a high-speed, robust trading infrastructure that handles millions of dollars in daily trading transactions.

As a Software Engineer at Graviton, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Designing and implementing a high-frequency automated trading system capable of trading on multiple exchanges.
• Building live reporting and administration tools for the trading system.
• Focusing on performance optimization and latency reduction through algorithm research and the application of advanced tools and techniques.
• Taking end-to-end ownership of modules, from design and development through deployment and support.
• Contributing to team growth by participating in the hiring process and occasional campus recruitments.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A degree in Computer Science.
• 3-5 years of experience with C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience within the High-Frequency Trading (HFT) industry.
• Expertise in algorithms and data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems.

The following qualifications are considered a plus:

• A solid understanding of TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols.
• Knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, bash, or Lisp.
• Familiarity with parallel programming models and algorithms.
• Experience with big data environments like Hadoop or Spark.
