Software Engineer

What you will do:

• Design and implement complex software components and subsystems using object-oriented analysis, drafting documentation, planning integrations, and conducting component tests.
• Support the design of architectural concepts and basic frameworks for products focused on patient outcomes.
• Ensure a smooth transition from concept to maturity phases in product development.
• Solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions tailored to medical technology environments.
• Maintain quality by following company procedures and complying with established management systems.
• Collaborate within Agile teams, adhering to established software development practices.
• Participate in planning, estimating activities, and ensure the integrity of intellectual property and confidential data.
• Support engineering reviews and surgeon labs for feedback and validation.

What you need:

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is preferred.
• 2-7 years of industry experience in professional software development.
• Experience with 3D Visualization and Geometric Computing.
• Strong expertise in Design Patterns, C++ programming concepts (Linear Algebra, Computer Vision), Software design, development, verification methodologies, algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with software development tools such as compilers, interpreters, editors, debuggers, source code control, and defect management systems.
• Technical competency in Qt/QML and image processing applications.
• Experience in medical devices, robotics, or surgical navigation is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with 3D Medical Imaging data handling (DICOM datasets, segmentation, surface extraction).
