Role Overview:
Join Mindtickle as a Software Engineer within the Business Technology & Security team. You will build, run integrations, pipelines, automations, and internal tools connecting key business systems.
About The Team:
The Business Systems team is the engine behind Mindtickle's operations, transforming requirements from GTM, Finance, People Success, IT, Legal, and Security into shipped solutions. This small team operates independently without traditional Scrum ceremonies; you will own problems end-to-end from requirement to deployed solution.
Your Responsibilities:
You will work with Python, Google Apps Script, GCP services (Cloud Run, Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery), REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth authentication, Git, CI/CD, and modern AI tooling like Claude Code.
What We're Looking For:
We value practical experience over tools listed on a CV. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of professional software development, strong Python skills, fluency with APIs (authentication, rate limits, webhooks), hands-on cloud experience (GCP preferred), and the ability to take end-to-end ownership of systems that are designed, built, shipped, and operated.

Your Responsibilities:
- Building (50%): Create integrations between business systems, data pipelines, automations for Finance/Security/GTM, internal tools, and AI-backed workflows using Python.
- Running/Maintaining (20%): Own inherited production systems, handling monitoring, alerting, incident response, and documentation.
- Evaluation & Feasibility (15%): Build prototypes to assess vendor APIs or build-vs-buy decisions.
- Migrations (15%): Handle data migration, field mapping, cutover scripts, and system replacements.
