About the Role:

Join Upstart's Borrower Experience (BX) team to build high-quality mobile applications using React Native. You will design and implement performant, scalable user-facing features for iOS and Android platforms that reduce borrower friction and improve payment success.

Your Impact:

• Design and build cross-platform mobile components using React Native (TypeScript).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to launch features that delight users.
• Contribute to platform improvements in testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring.
• Solve reliability issues and define mobile-specific APIs for client-server integration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (4+ years).
• Experience developing full-stack applications with a focus on mobile apps using React Native.
• Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams and take ownership of complex features from planning through release.
