About the Role
Own every moment at NetApp by leading design and delivery of scalable APIs, backend services, and data platforms. Provide hands-on technical direction while advancing AI-first engineering, automation, quality, reliability, and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery, architecture, and engineering standards across services, APIs, and data systems using Go, Python, REST/GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse, ELK, Grafana, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Apply data lakehouse concepts for ingestion, modeling, governance, and analytics pipelines.
- Champion responsible AI-assisted development, observability, operations, and intelligent automation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience. Strong system design, distributed systems knowledge, code quality focus, and partnership with Product stakeholders are essential. Preferred: agentic AI/RAG, cloud-native infrastructure, containers, IaC, streaming, security, data governance.
