Software Engineer

Role Type:
This position is designed as Hybrid with an expectation of working approximately two days per week from the HPE office in Bengaluru/Bangalore.

About The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for enhancements and new products. You will work on operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools while determining hardware compatibility or influencing hardware design.

Key Responsibilities

• Limited enhancement and programming of subsystems including OS, networking, utilities, and database tools.
• Analyzing designs to determine coding, integration activities based on project guidelines.
• Executing testing plans, debugging code, and writing documentation for assigned application portions.
• Collaborating with internal teams and outsourced partners to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with software systems design tools and languages.
• Analytical problem-solving skills for multiple platform types.
