Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join the NetApp Azure NetApp Files (ANF) team. In this unified engineering role, you will collaborate with passionate teams across Bengaluru/Bangalore to develop and operate cloud-scale distributed systems spanning storage, networking, infrastructure, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the functional performance, scalability, and reliability of data plane services rich in data management capabilities.
- Drive features through the entire software lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Design and operate cloud-native microservices using containers (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and modern distributed systems principles.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements for reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, architects, and partner teams to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
Technical Requirements
We value engineers who incorporate AI-native practices. Familiarity with Python (for automation/validation), C/C++, React, TypeScript, or C# is highly desirable. Experience designing RESTful APIs, operating observability pipelines in Azure/AWS/GCP, and mastering software quality practices including security best practices are essential.
